Hunza® Step Lite Eyelid

The Hunza® Step Lite Eyelid has been designed to be installed in the side wall of outside steps. The eyelid shades 50% of the lamp therefore eliminating any upward glare. Step lighting is an important part of any exterior lighting project for both safety and aesthetic purposes.

Solidly constructed from 63.5 x 10mm thick aluminium with a UV stable powder coated finish (standard colours bronze, green, matt black, silver and white) or solid copper, complete with clear tempered glass lens and silicon gaskets.

The standard low voltage products are suitable for use with an MR16 – 20 watt lamp and is supplied with a high quality European lamp.

Alternatively a 8 watt self ballasted 240 volt fluorescent option is available which offers excellent light output (comparative to a 40w incandescent lamp), low energy usage, long lamp life and very low heat generation this changes the luminaire to an IP66 rating.

The Eyelid is secured to the flange by two screws. As standard the fitting will be supplied with mounting holes. Although, if a canister is to be used there would be no need for the holes in the flange. Hunza® mounting canisters provide an efficient and professional method of installing Hunza exterior lighting luminaires. The internal O’rings also make the installed luminaires difficult to remove, therefore making them harder to steal; a priceless accessory for public installations.
